Hayden Circle is a short dead-end street in North Billerica running north from Hayden Road to a turnaround. It was laid out with Hayden Road on "Virginia Park, Plan of Land in Billerica, Mass.," drawn by Dana F. Perkins and Sons, Inc., civil engineers and surveyors of Reading, on May 28, 1953 for Ernest D. Corrigan, trustee of the Fidelity Realty Trust, who had bought the land from Rosaline B. Hayden on April 24, 1953. The Planning Board approved the plan on August 10, 1953, and it was recorded on August 13, 1953 (Plan Book 83, Plan 48). Lots 31 to 38 of the plan front on the circle. Like Hayden Road, it bears the name of the former owner of the tract; no record found explains the naming.
The water department laid 445 feet of main in Hayden Circle in 1953, and the assessors date the first houses to that year. The town accepted Hayden Circle as a town way on March 27, 1956, under a warrant article submitted by residents, and appropriated $550 to improve it. It was oil and sand sealed in 1958, had drainage work in 1975, and was hot topped in 1976 and again with bituminous concrete in 1977.
